What is "The Secret"?

With so much negative press about the economy in Michigan, I have been searching for something more positive to share with you. Recently I had the opportunity to view the movie "THE SECRET". You may have heard about it since it has been featured on Oprah, Ellen, Larry King and in the Wall Street Journal. Whatever "the Secret" is... it is being talked about!

The Secret explains the power behind the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is not a new idea, in fact the movie suggests that people have been aware of it for centuries. This "Law" says that whatever we give our focus to becomes our reality. If we focus on negative things or lack in our lives, we attract more of that into our experience. If we focus on positive things, on our truest desires, that is what we attract. Seems too simple doesn't it? Whether this is something you agree with or not, its certainly true that we often feel down when we are surrounded by negative thoughts, and yet we begin to feel GOOD when we hear or think about positive things. Henry Ford said, "Think you can or think you can't, either way you will be right." So why not start believing WE CAN?! This idea might not be the answer for everyone, but I think in the face of all that is happening here in Michigan, its worth a try! Don't you agree?

Many of us have learned to focus on the problem rather than the solution. I decided to begin focusing on the solution and already I see a difference in the way I feel. It is amazing!
